Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by Suzanne C. Suber

FORBIDDEN LOVE
By Suzanne C. Suber

Two persons from different times.
Possessing the same likes and inner feelings.
Meeting from separate dimensions.
Divided by a lucid barrier.
Reaching out but not able to fully touch.
A fear exists of shattering this transparent wall that comes between:
the fear of ultimate harm.
Remaining in a form of suspended animation so as not to alienate one another.

Thank you for catching that Marie,
I meant to categorize it as a poem. I didn't realize that I hadn't.
Thank you for your review,
Suzanne

Uh, this isn't a story. It's a poem in poem format. Maybe you should label it as what it really is, unless you have a reason to make it so.
I can see that it doesn't rhyme and doesn't meter. If it did, I think it would be ruined. The sentences are interesting and what's being said is intriguing. It's good work, just the "poem" deal bugs me.

Writing is my therapy, my heart reaching out. Love is the ink that runs through my veins and out my fingertips with pen in hand. It is so amazing; to have a thought, start writing, and be transport.. more..
