Time's EmbraceA Poem by GJ
Pulse of Time,Even and steady.Jostles day,To heighten pace.A time-bound race,Until nocturnal gracetramples its face.So dead rests the day,To be baptized as yesterday. And a new day dawnsto partake time’s raceIt’s birth and deathTime directsAnd man ponders, lateWhere have the days gone?Where did the years flee?Alas! Man too, time’s slaveHis life and death in time’s embrace* * * * *Disclaimer: the picture used herein is taken from the Internet © 2012 GJAuthor's Note
