Rhythm of the night

Rhythm of the night

A Poem by GJ

Sun plummets,

dyes horizon.

Daylight depletes,

rests its haunches.

Twilight’s darkened wings,

Night’s harbinger.

Men dash home,

Set to repose.

Nighttime looms,

Darkness soars.

Nocturnal beasts,

Amble free.

Silence falls,

Ears of sound relax.

Moon visage,

Elegance of night;

Until dawn,

Kisses it goodbye.

Despite its length and simple descriptions, it allows the imagination to start flowing. I, myself, started to picture a scenery. It was really nice.
