Something If Not A SparkA Poem by realmwriter
Something that came from a spark.
If not ignited by the passion of the dark. Something of love, something of desire, Something that came from a spark. Something that fell from above. If not someone that fell out of love. Something of need, something of want, Something that fell from above. She yearned for me and burned for me I too burned for her. Shed her tears on my shoulder and mine on hers She was my rock, I her bolder. My flowered damsel I rescued from distress I her prince in rusted armor. My living fairy tale in one sweet breath I her breathless moans. She was my passion, I her desire She lit in me a brand new fire. She was my need, I was her want My exotic dancer in a private show. She got under my skin and into my mind I got into her heart. She was my complement and my refrain. I was her opposite attraction. I was the dance, she the song, music was our love. She played me well, new all my strings, and pulled them near to break. Something happened, something changed, Someone went awry. I guess it was me, it must have been me. Although I don't know why. © 2012 realmwriterReviews
