the Passion of the LoverA Poem by realmwriter
Don't cry my love,
the tears will never dry up if your heart cannot heal.
Don't worry my love, the years will never find you if your soul is always sick. Cast your eyes not to the ground, the light cannot shine through them if they can't be seen. Don't be afraid my love, you can't move forward if you allow fear to stifle you. Don't let me go my love, I cannot protect you from the world if I am not there. Cast out the doubt from your mind my love, you are worth far more than you believe. Don't be shy my love, your courage knows no limits when you allow yourself to breath. Don't be so quick to point fingers my love, remember three more are pointing back at you. Don't forget to remember me when I'm gone, because I will remember you. Don't forget to morn me if from slumber I do not rise, because I will morn your every tear before I rise Don't remember the worst in me, because though my mistakes are many I will forget about yours. Don't be too critical of me, because I was only trying to push you to your best. Cast me to the fire if you must, but I will throw myself to the flames. Cast your doubt upon my eyes if it suits you, but He is my only judge. Cast me to the ocean if that will please you, but I will find my way back to the broken beach. Cast me out of your memory if you must, but I will not forget your passion or your lust. © 2012 realmwriter |
