Bonfire For Pride

Bonfire For Pride

A Poem by realmwriter

Crystal night, Crystalline light, reflect upon this face
Take back the shards, take back the breath,
Leave the in this lake

Swim to the moon, fly to the sun, burn away the tears
Give up your ghosts, give up you past
Stay the from these fears

Cold the soul, hard the heart, remember what you've done
Take the your time, take the your tole
Leave this fight for none

Walk to the sun, run to the moon, dissolve away your pride
Give all of nothing, give nothing of all
Stay away confide

Cover your vanity, blanket your pride, life is slipping off the line
Take away your strength, stay the of your might
Leave hunger for the wine.

Wonderful work! Really enjoyed reading this! Beautiful images! You just need to watch your spelling and to read it out loud a few times to pick up on missing words? (or is it me??) You're a great poet realmwriter! Keep up the great work!! :)
