How Fast Time FliesA Poem by realmwriter
Ever notice your age?
Ever notice the years? Ever notice the rate of change? Ever notice how fast time flies? The older we get the faster it goes. A bullet train, on a collision course with chaos. Though the line be straight, the course is bent. Speeding to the end, wherever it may wait. There are no breaks, save death and not even then. We ride this destiny out, awaiting our fate. In due time, the reaper comes calling And you can't kill the sandman. Admittedly, time is immeasurable, Just as is the length of eternity. Father time holds no judgement, But he certainly shows his age. Man came up with a concept to measure progress. Progress imprisoned man to measure resolve. Time became his cage, now we are bound by his hand. His hand captivate our age and we cannot destroy the cage. © 2011 realmwriterReviews
