the life that I forgot.

  Live me free, free to see, the one thing that I can't.
Live me free, to hear the song, rush the wind,
the wind that carries me.

  Breath me true, true to end, the one thing that I won't.
Breath me true, to feel the fire, burn with the intensity,
the intensity in depend.

  Hear me in, in your voice, your voice to speak, the one thing you don't hear.
Hear me in, my cries to you, to show you
my true desire in my choice.

  Wake me up, wake me up before I die the one life that I lived.
Wake me up, to realize the life, the life I thought I lived,
was the one thing that broke my lie.

  Fire me, to live me free, to breath me true, to hear me in,
to wake me up, and tell the truth, to desire, to live again!

Author's Note

My writing style is such, that I like to spell words differently and use their definitions to a different affect. Such is also the case with my grammar in some of my poems, not all. I usually try and write a note to this effect but it can be rather time consuming to do so. So if you my readers will bare with me I would appreciate it. Thank you for your understanding!

For some odd reason, first thought in my mind when I reached the 'Hear me in, in your voice...' I thought of the music video for Evanescence: bring me back to life. I believe that this would be a great metaphor for this or vise versa. A little dangerous twinged in with the great fire that you so desire.
