Trying To Get Away From Then

  Pourin rain in the ocean

Fill my boat sink my ship

Take me away to your depths

 

  Shineing sun in the snow

Warm my soul take my heart

Burn me to the comfert ground

 

  Warm summer nights Cold crisp mornings

Dancing till dawn as the light begins to fade

Wresteling within to find the little of me that remains

 

  Sinking to the bottom of an overflowing lake

Water seeping in my breath is getting thin

Struggeling to the surface of my pain again

 

  Locomotive pounding in my head

Blows it horn the sound falls dead

The train off its tracks keeps pushin me back

 

  Yesterday followed me into tomorrow

Tomorrow came and went never saw it till it hit me

Now Im sittin here today tryin to get away from then.

 

  Then is creepin in the shadows

Then is catching up I cant run fast enough

Then as now the tears keep commin

 

  Through the rain filling the ocean

Throught the sun burnin me down

Throught the water chokinme out

Through today yesterday tomorrow and then

Its all cavin in itsd all fading away its all crumbeling down

Its all right this is normal but I still cant get away from THEN.
