Stricken To Be AloneA Poem by realmwriter
Alone in a crowded room, silently sit the middle.
Think right there, in the void, everyone stepping round. Look at them, stare at you, feel every piercing sound. Slip quietly still into the eyes, see back through their blaze. That purest light, that light so bright, it snatches out the faze. Echo fast, hear the sound, before it hits the ear. Feel the wave, the wave to whip, slip silently into sound. Rack your head, crack your knuckles, dance your chair around. Watch them back, stare them down, don't let them take you in. Prying in, pulling out, vision panic, fighting foe nor friend. Take your pain, tare it out, pry it from dead hand. Unrest its lock, free its prize, finding in captivity there. Read the written, behold the words, let take lest tole be taught. Fleet the fighting, fast the panic, stricken to be alone. Reap the whaling, wall thy will, , keep hold the furious tide. Purge the stricken, band together, take the accusations as they come. Look back again, forget the not forgotten and pay the healthy sum. © 2011 realmwriterAuthor's Note
