Snow BlindA Poem by realmwriterSnow packed mountain top Wind in my face Trudging through this bitter, biting foe Sunlight blinking up at me Jack lacerating my toes Trudge on, Trudge on Scornful cold seeping through, into every poor Skin half frozen Onward still I go Blinking out the gray Frail and fragile every step Push on, Push on Fighting still against the whipping gale Forced back three for every step Plow onward, Plow onward Disorienting whiteout, turns away the course Frozen bitter to the core Tramp forward, Tramp forward Snow Blind, disoriented, distraught Blustering wind, barren cold, blistered But still I fight and claw my way to the top © 2014 realmwriterReviews
