Change Your Seasons ( April collaboration)

Mind never questions fate’s merciless life
seasons rewind sharpened by strife
blind to elements' plight keeps us behind
as winter's confusion continually confines.

 

 

 

Awareness comes but once in a blink
glimpses of awakening teeter the brink
playing catch up to what lies ahead
spring's but a moment that's quickly shed.

 

 

 

 

April's showers bring forth flowers
fragrant towering rays of power
displaying treason in an age of reason
grab hold of hope and change your season.

 

 

 

 

Summer's wrath contrasts early November
What reason gives less to remember
hold fast happiness let go of pain
scattering the past to embrace the rain.

 

 

 

Scorching heat beaten by faith amassed
blasting disbelief to questions asked
courage outlasts the inclement stain
casting doubt in conspiracy’s campaign.

 

 

Cannot one be who he was born
whether the weather hears not their scorn?
Answered back in shedding of fear
clearing the clouds that reappear.

 

 

 

 

Autumn's colors warming yet chill
frantically fighting to fit the bill
despite the light it tries to consume
citing the spite of winter's gloom.

 

 

Circling back to the path where it all began
Summer sun boiled where our bravery ran
the frost of winter disparaging our seed
changing our seasons so we can succeed.

The different seasons personified as emotions in time, change is inevitable as are the seasons of our mind. Great collaboration....so many great lines, you meld together beautifully in one grand season of poetry.

This is superb poetry, the flow of the words is exactly right in a tale of four seasons and the awareness that comes once in a blink, it does but can pass so swift, to hold it and tie it down is the work of mental Titans, I believe together the two of you have done just that, bravo :)

1st.. the quote… 2nd… the photo… thought… reflect.. Understand… depth… 3rd… this poem flowed… OMG… driven forth with the underlining base and distorted guitar riff repeating, setting time and emotion in a continual loop showing me something… 4th.. in your words, I see… and I perceive that there is no season for recovery to bathe in light… we cannot ‘just wait’ for it to come, its in our need, our want… a desire to encourage the strength.. that will allow us to escape and redefine.. the seasons of our mind…
