Unveiled Before the MuseA Poem by realmwriterFor a muse shows us the things that we cannot see The side of the heart that beats for her eternally
A muse need not be female, male or person A muse may merely be that which captivates coercion
The thing inside, that eyes can find, to translate thought to word That which brings, close to mind, meaning in all that is absurd
We so cleverly veil within ourselves, that which shows us weak Our muse brings out in us, all that makes us meek
We see though eyes unburdened by the chains of shackled personality Our muse brings out in us, the temperance of individuality
Captivated by our muse, triumphantly sweet in grandeur We are inspired to continue, to push on, to endure
Standing in awe before our muse, unsure of what to do or say We must be within ourselves, that which never fades away. © 2014 realmwriterReviews
