Travel Through the BlueA Poem by realmwriterPoetry in motion, the call and dance of light and ocean. It's color reflected in the sky. How the gods must have felt on high. A shaft of sun, of now and then, come bursting forth to set the day anew.
A time once gone hath awakened, a need to grow in crisp, cold morning dew. Of forth and back, of hither and fro, the day springs ahead to begin again in you.
A shaft of light, to color the night and put aside the gray. A cloud lit sky, to thrust the eye, into the beauty of their sway.
Oh be not the ship that sailed, across a sky so blue, it bucked and tossed to tempests best, the ship that sailed to you. On clouds it rode, its sails of light unfurled, steady as she goes.
She knows, this day has come to call, to rise from slumber deep. This day has come to bid of thee, that which it placed before your feet.
But bid the such notion as to ride the clouds, as if ships in tossing oceans. Bear the light the sails of past, to deliver thee from night.
The breath that caught in wind and wild, in clouds of morning hew. If not for shafts of sun, through ships to travel through the blue. © 2014 realmwriterReviews
