A Calmness of ManA Poem by realmwriterSings in voices yearning for more, the throat, the stir, the message of yore. Sing the symphony come to call, the music that rings, deep in us all.
We dance, we glide, we let it take us and hide. Inside that place where fire burns bright.
The warmth of music will bring it to light. Burn desire deep in our souls, the music cannot, will not let go.
We sing a new song to go in grace, we feel that power, the beauty, that wonderful race. We leap in joy as a little boy or girl. We feel the harmony as our hearts unfurl.
Oh the composition that words add to, we sing the song that springs anew. Oh this chorus in all of life, we sing and dance to avoid the strife.
We feel the music deep in our bones, the tumult, the richness of music's unknowns. The memories of long ago, in the notes of fireworks as a blast of the flow.
Music brings what nothing else can It brings in us a calmness of man. © 2014 realmwriterReviews
