That Which We Cannot UndueA Poem by realmwriterTonight is the night the fire burns bright in the light of the dying moon. Tomorrow is the day the rain pours out that which cannot be contained. There may not be another tomorrow but bring anyway that which has come. There may never be another fire to light your way as great as that in the sky.
Tonight is the night the moon takes hold and burns in passion for the bold. Tomorrow will tell that which we fail to see when the fire burns no more. There may never be another chance to make right the wrongs for which we fight. There may not come another rain washed moon to guide you through the gloom.
For fear of time in times way we wander through the blinded day. For that which came but can't control, that which has gone it's way. For all the deeds done in that which is wrung, we worry of wrinkles in our mind. For all that we achieve, we can no longer conceive, the thing for which we are blind.
For every mountain we climb, we slip one more time, through the mire into muck. For every step forward, we traverse backward, into the rut where we're stuck . For every breath taken, we give one more, to that which lies in the dark. For every mistake made, we try to make right, the wrong inspite of the stark. © 2014 realmwriterReviews
