And Then You Were Gone Just As QuickA Poem by realmwriterIt was you I smelled your perfume in the air Walked through the mist of it So fleating
But I know it was you
I looked around Expecting to see you Across the street maybe No one there
But I know it was you
You brushed past me I cought a glimps of you A glimps or an echo Maybe just a memory
But I know it was you
I felt you You reached out touched my sleave You just brushed past me Was I even there
But I know it was you
I know it wasn't a memory It wasn't a dream You where there
But I know it was you
You were more than a reflection More than an echo of the past You weren't just a lucid dream Fleating in my mind
But I know it was you
I touched you Smelled your sent dancing on my tongue Felt you shiver through my soul You were there, as real as wind
And then you were gone, just as quick
