And Then You Were Gone Just As Quick

And Then You Were Gone Just As Quick

A Poem by realmwriter

 It was you

I smelled your perfume in the air

Walked through the mist of it

So fleating

But I know it was you

 I looked around

Expecting to see you

Across the street maybe

No one there

But I know it was you

 You brushed past me

I cought a glimps of you

A glimps or an echo

Maybe just a memory

But I know it was you

 I felt you

You reached out touched my sleave

You just brushed past me

Was I even there

But I know it was you

  I know it wasn't a memory

It wasn't a dream

You where there
As real as the blood in my veins

But I know it was you

You were more than a reflection

More than an echo of the past

You weren't just a lucid dream

Fleating in my mind

But I know it was you

 I touched you

Smelled your sent dancing on my tongue

Felt you shiver through my soul

You were there, as real as wind

And then you were gone, just as quick

As I read I am consumed by the feelings that you portray. That sense that something is there that is just outside your grasp. The repetition keeps alive this feeling. well done.

Thank You very much!
I am, reading, and reading again, how beautiful this lucid dream seems to be... there are almost touches of them, but sigh, not yet, not yet...

it's elusive, and well written, a poetic blast in my opinion.

I love the recurring rhythm in it,

You expressions, step by step... you are so talented my friend! :)
All I read I love from you too!
