We Are To Suffer Our DeedA Poem by realmwriterFire in light, a dance of meek and might A breath caught in a scream Eternal bliss, through nothing we miss Choking on the edge of the seam Breath un to me, that which will be Given if not broken rent to bone
This world is not ours to do as we please We are only to do as is their need For us we are done, but not for none For them, our young we leave Lest the end find them what we cannot There is nothing for if their need
We suffer no more that through the door The one closed that had none to open We walk blind and leave all behind No nodd of the past or looking back We burn bridges whilst building a void Fire in our veins, we're controlled by the reins
Stumble forward blind our childfren behind Stewards of the world we leave They'll take control where we let go What we were unable to cleave Unto our children we suffer our pain Unto our children we suffer them our bain
Lead our lambs unto slaughter unto the mire We beg and we battle we fight and we flail We stumble along, darkness embalmed Grusome we muddy our seed well tended Until naked the day we stand and we bleed We pay for nothing if not to suffer our deed
Fire in light, a dance of meek and might A breath caught in a scream Eternal bliss, through nothing we miss Choking on the edge of the seam Breath un to me, that which will be Given if not broken rent to bone
