Let's Dance In the Rain and Play In the StreetsA Poem by realmwriter
Blue sky intent on raining sun in my face
Shade a respite from protuberant rays Gone are the cold icy gripping ways No more bundles of heavy frocks and scarfs No more knee socks and bunching long johns Nor fingerless mittens or boots made of rubber Spring has began to put winter to bed It is setting up camp and clearing my head Recharging the glum, hum drum of gray Blue sky intent on raining sun in my face Come, lets bask in sunshine's warm hug Let's dance in the rain and play in the streets. © 2014 realmwriterReviews
