Your Sorrow Can't CompareA Poem by realmwriter
In pain there exists an agony
Seeping out of every crevice, folding in on itself to create a nexus, a point of no return. To wallow in the shallows Of those that you would spurn. To die of defeat and broken dreams, of sadness filling the void. So die of things that rot of thought Of flesh and rented bone. Take hold of the marrow To pry yourself out of the sorrow, for moment of respite you cannot reach. Crush the spine against the back, the breaking of your promise. Toil in terror and fade from light to exist only in despair. Your want of luster and of pride brought you to the nothing of no where. But to mine what is done, Your sorrow simply can't compare. © 2013 realmwriterReviews
