A Poem by Kana Renee
"

Reflection is a necessary element of Human exsistance.

"

I believe in life there are sacrifices,

That must be made to keep the world right.

I make the bed that I lay in,

And Never give up without a fight.

I believe in my soul there are moments,

Too gross and vivid for the Human eye.

Hiding mysterious kingdoms;

While conquering all that I try.

Perhaps, I could retire to my tree-house,

My palace, wherever it may be.

I need to splash my toes in the stream

And live in this world I see.

I want to retire to my tree-house,

My palace, wherever it may be,

I need to see my reflection look back,

To remind me I am who I see.

Wow! This is like a memory of a dream for me. What I am trying to say is that it feels so familiar, so much like my own thoughts that I would swear you were talking about me (if only you knew me that well). On that note I feel oddly not qualified to even compliment because I feel like I am boasting my own thoughts. (does any of this make sense or am I babbling incoherently again?) I loved it, I really did, I just feel like you got inside of my head and it threw me a little. Good job!

Sounds like deep passion. I like the way it is worded and the flow is good :)

Very nice, your form is great. It's different but yet it works. I love it.

Simple, elegant and beautiful... I admire the chances you took with form in this piece, a deveation from what would seem to be the "norm", and yet, it worked completely...not unlike lust I suppose.
