Outcasts

Outcasts

A Poem by screamingeagle94
"

This poem, like most poems, formed from just some idea. It is greatly influenced by the writing of S.E. Hinton. It also describes what I'm like at school. I'm not a jock or anything, and only have a close group of friends, so I hope you enjoy it. Another

"

We

Are outcasts.

Never concerned

About tomorrow.

Today is our past,

Present and

Future.

We have no jobs,

No school,

Nothing to tie us

To the world,

To other people,

But each other.

Friends.

Our metal steeds

Carry us through

These concrete

Badlands.

We meet many

Others like us on

These dusty roads of

Life.

And we need only

Look them in the

Eye and understand

That they

Are outcasts

Too.

We have no

Enemies, except

For what tomorrow

May bring.

And the only

Thing that can help us

Face them are

Each other.

Because we

Are outcasts, and

We

Are friends.
