So SureA Poem by screamin'ianAutobiographical snapshot with subjective and objective observations.
I'm sure
You can imagine The pain I feel So hard Too hard To pretend It's not real It was implicit in the bargain I'd see the pieces fall in place an unspoken broken deal My home was broken It was an inside job Sleep with the enemy, hell She bore my child Chin skin flapped up Kissing my cheek I lay beside The flaming wreck Was yesterday? Earlier? An hour ago, a million years Visage of Athena Dressed as naughty nurse Hypodermic in her hand Chock fulla wisdom She jabbed it in Broke it off in my head Skanky, pimpled, junky w***e You are my Guardian Angel I am your one true love Under the boardwalk On a rainy day No one else Would dare to play Like water, the universal solvent, emotion rises to meet it's own level © 2011 screamin'ianAuthor's Note
