In feel like this would be like looking into the mirror.. and seeing the brokenness and yet knowing that is my distorted view.. because there is always hope..x

This actually started out as a description of techniques of Sigilism. The goal or desired result is clearly stated and then signified symbolically so as to be unrecognizable. Thus the magician may focus without lust of result. It is by bringing our desires to conscious mind that we inadvertently negate them with subconscious fear and doubt. It's tricky, to say the least.
