Colourless world

Colourless world

A Poem by The Misplaced Poet
"

Personal endeavors with relationships and commitment

"
Was I supposed to know
Our timing was misled
The face of the clock
Playing tricks with your head

Took the dial as gospel
When it was actually me
Moving the cogs
To change the hands that you see

Colour-blind in a world
With such a broad hue
Unable to see
My rainbow was you

Tossed away when you
called me your savior
Now fallen for me again
Let me return the favour

I enjoy your writing. So often, our relationship with others in our life provide the inspiration to write, to express the emotions we feel, to capture a moment, to display affection, to process our own thoughts. Continue to write, to find your inspirations. If you are like me, they will change over time. You can see different emotions and styles developing in your work that represent you and only you in ways every artist experiences.
