The Bride's BalladeA Poem by abluehorseandflowersA ballade is 3 stanzas followed by an envoy (direct address to the reader)The Bride's Ballade Welcome the Bride as She comes Flowing white lace and pearls Silhouetted by the sun Her Beloved she will embrace With Her gentle soul and spirit Her Thou's form will fill with Grace To behold Her is to be awed And lifted to the Heavens Then pen simple words of laud In knowing Thyself my friend you'll know your Bride; and in that bestowed Grace, you'll apprehend your Source.
