I have never written you a poem about the moon
'cause every single one of them takes place in June and I've never had one of those complacent attitudes to set pen to paper and scrawl you some platitudes relying on an easily-assembled rhyming couple, 'cause I'm just a bit more nuanced and subtle, and what we've got ought to sing its own tune, and the last thing I want is to end this too soon. © 2010 Scott A.
