The Fly in MorningA Poem by Scott A. WilliamsThis is one of the first poems I wrote that was a serious attempt to convey... something. I later reversed a lot of the abstract elements in my style, but I feel like there's something to it.
If it's not one thing
it's another as one thing can't be anything but what it is and there are many things. And anything I don't know maybe it can't be known and maybe there's none nothing, no-one, nobody out standing in the road with a dress flapping in the wind with arms outstretched ready to welcome me. Her hair blowing in the breeze, eyes gazing she's not there. She's nowhere. Know where she is. © 2010 Scott A. WilliamsAuthor's Note
