A Valentine's PoemA Poem by Scott A. WilliamsWritten for class in February 2008, one of my most open, honest pledges of devotion.I have not known this before you, and I would call it love. All that you are, all that you do for me, love. My only reason for pulling myself up from under the covers most mornings. Nothing really happens before I see you, and oh the fun we have when we stay up late together. Having you inspires me to do great things. Your steamy breath on my lips, your tawny complexion, sweet, smooth. The warmth in my hands when I hold you, I need. Every man knows you, every woman too. But
I must always return, I love, want, need you, my coffee, my caffeine. © 2010 Scott A. WilliamsAuthor's Note
