I Want To Lick Your Brains

It's possible I'm having more fun writing poetry than I ever have.

I want to lick your brains,
to taste
the inner parts of all your thoughts,
to know in ways
I can't with words phrase
the shocking sensation
of your firing neurons.

To take you in.

I've asked so many times
to know what you are thinking,
and I don't know if you've been lying.
But if the truth's not on your lips
you should know your mind can run,
but it can't hide from my tongue.
