new beginnings

a daily perspective

   Today will be the first day of a new beginning.I will no longer be held down by the addictions that hold me hostage.I will no longer be a slave to all the elements that prevent me from being the greatest that i can be.I shall prevail.
   Though i know that i face the greatest battle of my life,i am not afraid.I will not bow down before my captives,but will stand and claim victory.I have been held down by their chains for too long,and at what price?
   Lets just say that i have paid dearly.
   I will no longer know pain,but love.I will laugh at the clutches of sorrow and self pity,and bring before them the rebirth of my soul.I will regard all weakness with overwhelming strength and tower above those that wish to claim me.
   I,in all my severity,give this realm of my life to my father in Christ,and will stand with him before the enemies of my life.
                          Amen.
