Heart Garden

Heart Garden

A Poem by CoalHeart

I once gave a pretty rose the light from my heart,

Hoping that one day with her i might "part".

She was nurtured from seed and gave the room that she heeded,

And yet she broke from the garden i so desperately needed.

Her thorns and her vines ripped through my hearts carcass ,

but only to cleanse what lie away in its darkness.

Pretty good, pretty good!
It flowed nicely and you used great imagery. My only suggestion would be watch your capitalization and spelling. Simple yes, but when I read "threw" (which should be "through") the flow was interrupted by my mind trying to re-spell it. If you corrected it, it'd be a little more amazing than it is.
Great job! Keep it up!
