TraPPed

TraPPed

A Poem by TeardropsOnMyHeart

TraPPed

I’m trapped in disaster

Each way that I turn

The time must pass faster

For my insides burn

This box that surrounds me

Shrinking in size

Stealing breath from within me

And shutting my eyes

Tighter and tighter

I’m squeezed in its shape

Lighter and lighter

My stomach feels faint

I push on its walls

The glass I could shatter

I’m going to explode

From my weak bladder

I love this poem. The unexpected turn of humor makes it all the funnier.
