Unlocked Lies

Unlocked Lies

A Poem by TeardropsOnMyHeart

Creaping through the gates of truth

Clutching tight the key

Enter corridor of lies

Distrust hovers on she

Lies so little and pute white

Surrounded by distaste

Hide the snide, conceal the real

Must keep a tight straight face

Easy to avoid the truth

Slip through with such smooth ease

Slip of tongue. No! Lie leaked out

Where'd she drop the keys?

Must get back through the gate

Race harshly through the hall

Door is shut, locked with no key

Truth is known to all
