A Poem by baregoddess

I let you in and not regular let you in, but that you slept in my pores let you in.
That I wrote your name on a tree in heaven let you in.
I opened every door and held it for you let you in
I let you in and you burned everything to the ground
Called me a queen then took apart my crown, and forced me to eat the pieces.
See, you left me in pieces and expected me to the find peace in it.
Said, I was the missing piece in your today but tomorrow had the habit of changing so I better not jump the gun writing my first with your last and just because you were here did not mean you meant to stay.
It meant you knocked on the right door today
