Life is Love
Like a peach
Soft and velvety to the touch
It smells heavenly
So ripe
Each bite deliciously sweet
Juice on my fingertips
Slowly savouring each piece
I devour it
Leaving nothing behind
And hungrily search for more
Love is Life

Wow, Angela this very beautiful and you have done such a great job in its composers. Its just pull you through gracefully; all the while recognizing how wonderful life really is. You use great imagery such as peach, soft, velvety, juice, ect. But I really like how you used your similes and metaphors. You write metaphor, "Life is Love," then you compare it to a peach using the simile "like a peach". You then place your imagery of why life is like the love of a peach by describing the peach. "Soft and Velvety to the touch". I could ramble on and so.... I leave it like this:
