Ressurected

Ressurected

A Poem by Sarah J Dhue
"

she couldn't without her lover, so she awoke him from death

"

Tears fall like rain
Nothing for me to gain
After dying
I'll never be the same again

Ressurection is not as great as it may sound
Having your body ripped out of the ground
Trying to fit a soul inside
My worm eaten hide
My joints are like rusted iron
Trying to get my legs able to run
My hands able to twitch
My mouth able to b***h
Behind my closed eyes I can see
What you are doing to me

To think I was dead
Layed down my head
Finally at rest
But now I am distressed
My coffin's locked
I've knocked and knocked
Covered in dirt
My knuckles really hurt
What have you done
Look at the monster I've become
I have been rotting away
A victim of decay
Been six feet under for too long
Now my mind works all wrong

Why couldn't you have let me be;
Realized that we couldn't be
Especially once I died
I'm no longer the same inside
Something darker lives there
Waiting to see your look of despair
When you see what you have done
When you see I what I've become
I will stand there laughing at your look of fear
Perhaps you might shed a tear
Perhaps you'll learn what it means
When on a headstone of one deceased
It reads, "Rest In Peace"

"It reads, "Rest In Peace"' really added great character to the poem at the end.
I liked this alot; it flowed around much like a song. =]
