Forever YoursA Story by Sarah J DhueSome love is so supernatural, it will never die.It was senior year. I was ready for a night out, it was Friday. I climbed into my sleek black car and headed for the club. I went inside and met up with my friends. We had sodas and food. We laughed and talked. And then I saw her. She had an aura, something like no other girl I had ever seen.
Her eyes were ice blue, her hair white blonde. She was tall and thin, her skin was pale. She seemed to glow. I found myself heading towards her slowly, as though I was gently being dragged. Her short denim shorts and faded tan jacket contrasted well with her pale skin and hair.
Before I knew it, I was next to her, "Hi," I said nervously, smiling. She looked up at me, her blue eyes were mesmorizing. She smiled sideways at me, making her face even more beautiful.
"Hello," she said, taking my hand. I was shocked, I had said the first word and she seemed to be coming onto me like her denim shorts on her thighs.
"Um, I'm Travis, but my friends call me Trav," I said, I knew I must be nearly as pale as she was.
"Erina," she said, edging towards me, the smile on her face widening. It was weird, and yet I was enjoying it, "So, Trav, you here by yourself?"
I was going to say no, I almost looked over my shoulder at my friends. But my eyes were lost in her's, "Yes. I come here alone often" I lied.
"I am too. I've never been here before," she said, squeezing my hand. I wanted to leave with her, but what would my friends say...
"You wanna stay here, or go somewhere else?" I asked nervously, fighting the urge to look at my friends.
"Well, I need to get to Route 51 tonight," she said, smiling, almost devilishly. Was she asking me to go parking with her? And if she was, how could I say no?
"Okay, I can give you a lift," I offered, "My car's out front."
"That would be lovely," she said, "You're a nice boy." Boy? I was sure I was older than her, I would've prefered guy. But yet I liked being called a boy, it was sexy in an odd way. We walked out to my car, I didn't even glance at my friends as I left. I headed out towards Route 51. Soon, we were surrounded be farmland. Corn passed by in a whiz.
I felt her hand in my hair, playing with it, wrapping it around her fingers, scratching my scalp. I kept my eyes on the road, oh how I yearned to look at her.
"Here!" she yelled suddenly, "Stop here." I pulled over to the side of the road. I turned to look at her. She continued to play with my hair, her hand moving down my jawline to my chin. She scooted closer to me. I put my hand on her neck and moved closer also.
Our eyes glued to one another's, we began to kiss. Her lips were smooth and cold, soothing. Her tongue entered my mouth, moving around slowly, wrapping around mine. We continued to kiss and embraced, her breasts up against me. She rubbed my back, slipping her hands under my shirt, following my spine with her fingers.
Suddenly, she pulled away, getting out of the car. I was taken by surprise, she had been all over me mere seconds ago. I climbed out of the car.
"What's wrong?" I asked, I was desperate, I wanted her back in my arms.
"Too stuffy in there," she said, "But too cold out her." She pulled her jacket tighter around herself.
"Here," I said, putting my leather jacket around her shoulders. She pulled it around her.
She looked back up at me, "Thank you, Trav. You're so nice. I just wish..." she said, her voice trailing off as she stared into the stars, "Just hold me!"
I took her in my arms. She was freezing. I began to rub her arms to warm her up. She suddenly jammed her hands into my jean pockets and pulled me ever closer to her.
"Your heart is beating so fast," she whispered, her ear pressed into my chest. I looked down at her and she looked up at me. We began to kiss again. She tasted like nothing I'd tasted before, sweet and salty and sour all the same time, but a pleasant taste. The type you don't want to leave your mouth, the type you want to savor.
Suddenly, a bright light seemed to explode in the sky. She quickly pulled away from me. She looked up into the sky, directly into the light. A beam seemed to surround around her. She seemed to levitate, her feet slowly rising off the ground. I ran to grab, but her smile stopped me dead in my tracks.
"Trav," she said sadly, "I'm so glad I met you tonight. I really enjoyed our time together... it was like nothing I've ever experienced," her smile was sad now, "But I have to go. Here is your jacket," she tossed it to me, "You caused all of my senses to swell with pleasure and you answered many questions."
"Wait!" I said, "What do you mean I answered many questions?"
"Humans are an interesting race," she said. Her voice grew sadder still, "But tonight I went into this planning only to learn and came out loving my speciman." A silver tear ran down her white cheek as her hair began to shrink in length, "I will never forget you and I will always love you." And then she was gone.
I stood in awe of what had happened. Had I really just made out with an alien? I pulled on my jacket. It smelled just like her and sent strange feeling throughout my body. And I knew I'd never love anyone quite the same as Erina.
The next morning, the news was covered with a story of crop circles and people questioning their meaning. How could they know that only one person, myself, knew what they said?
