Writer's Wednesday 36: First Person POV EmotionA Story by Sarah J DhueOn my blog, I do an 'event' called Writer Wednesdays. I post a prompt and others(including me) write something based on that prompt. I pressed my fingers against my forehead
right between my eyebrows, my middle finger sliding partially along the bridge
of my nose. I let out a long exhale - a sigh,
if you will - and closed my eyes, trying to avoid squinting; squinting always
made me see those funny little ghosts in the darkness behind my eyelids. When I opened my eyes once more, I took a
second look at the paper in my hand to make sure I had not misread it. Nope.
It definitely said that I owed the IRS over $50,000. © 2016 Sarah J Dhue |
