Writer's Wednesday #22: Days of the Week as PeopleA Story by Sarah J DhueOn my blog, I do an 'event' called Writer Wednesdays. I post a prompt and others(including me) write something based on that prompt.Monday
is generally crabby. He usually hasn’t
had enough sleep and complains a lot about his job. Monday is the
friend we don’t really mind not having around. Tuesday is
fairly passive and always has a latte in-hand.
Tuesday really doesn’t get out much
and tends to sit around at home, since she is an introvert. Wednesday
is nothing special. He is the silent
presence and sometimes we don’t really notice if he is around or not. On most subjects of discussion, Wednesday tends to take a neutral stance. Thursday
is very optimistic. She is always
sharing little motivational pictures on her social media and trying to brighten
everyone’s day. Thursday
is a planner, always looking ahead and coming up with fun things to do. Friday is
a party animal. No, seriously, he is the
life of the party. Friday tends to drink a little too much, but is
overall a pretty cool and fun guy. He
also has all kinds of fun stories from all the parties he goes to. Saturday
is a fun-loving free spirit. She is all
about days at the beach, going out for ice cream, and catching the latest
blockbuster at the cine. Saturday is a hobbyist, trying her hand at all
sorts of fun new things. Sunday
loves brunch and is a little reserved. A
little more adventurous than Tuesday, she
would still rather stay in and read or watch Netflix. Sunday is
a reflective deep thinker. © 2015 Sarah J DhueAuthor's Note
