What is love?

What is love but weightless words?
Thoughtless thoughts said aloud?
To fool the mind with careless dreams,
When the world is falling apart at it's seems.

To believe in hope when all is lost,
Someday we all will pay the cost.
But till that mournful day we sigh,
and resign to live alone inside our minds.

What is love but foolish pain?
Why ruin your heart with tears like rain?
Drown your sorrows in thoughts of lost love.
Is love not true? Of course it is, but what is love?
