          How To Write Poetry

 

Poetry is but a simple turn of phrase

Adoration is just a look

Beauty is mocking the pure at heart

Judgment reads like a book

 

Sometimes I’m verbose, can write a line

Sometimes I see real good

Sometimes you sparkle bright as a star

And telling you is what I should

 

Now I’ve forgotten many a time

Lost what I meant to say

All I remember are these lines

I Love You forever and today!

I really enjoyed this! Its simplicity and its strength of communication. Adoration is just a look Beauty is mocking the pure at heart - how very beautifully put! Poetry is so uplifting for it conveys in short and often dramatically, this you have done nicely!

Good one! I would recommend a change of title though - maybe "Poetry is..." since it discusses more about what it is.
