Just Some More Venting

Just Some More Venting

A Poem by LSS
"

Old Age Has Its Hazards

"

Flactus Ejactus

   an old Lady's surprise.

Deflate us, Berate us,

   But give us our prize.

Demean us, Unseem us,

   We burst till we dies.

That pile in the corner,

   Its drawing more flies.

     How Do you get

    to an ignoble step.

Where once you were Princely

    Now just a pain.

Every breath wondering

Is it your last.

Every step thundering

What's with the Gas?

Lurking in corners

Hiding in Dens,

Standing in air vents,

Needing some air.

Then you meet someone

crossing the room.

they eye you closely,

Theirs soon your fume.

Your shame turns on Red.

You hang your head.

You're into her space.

She's into yours.

But what is that wonder

your own nose explodes.

She's out here venting.

She's not wearing 'Rose

'Just Some Mor Venting'
LSS,
How often does every human being wonder at the basic ability we all have to be nutrition burning machine. The result is of course at times challenging when in close quarters. What to do? Your poem is a fun walk through the possibilities. You did a wonderful job with this subject. Thanks for bringing me a smile!
Blessings,
Kathy

This is hilarious, Larry. You are too much. You really have the rhythm and meter going on here, and in more ways than one! Thanks for the laugh! Carole

what's this, the battle of the senses? lol too funny. good lead up to it. I liked the flow, but I would keep the rhyme fluent thruout it all, it is more enjoyable that way.

great job.
