LostA Poem by schnickythep
It's not wrong that I'm trying
To find my way on my own Anything's better than the old machine I used to call my home Still it's getting harder To find a meaning in it all Hindsight may be perfect But in the present I still fall Am I the only one who's lost In a world so far from the truth? And when all the lies are plain to see How is it still enough for you? Build a wall and paint it So you think that I'm alright Cause you don't need to see me When I'm too tired to fight You don't need to worry I've always worked this way And though confused I' still alive Guess that's the price I pay Am I the only one who's lost In a world so far from the truth? And when all the lies are plain to see How is it still enough for you? Scream for you to wake up But you don't want to hear I only want to help you But you refuse to have me near Am I the only one who's lost In a world so far from the truth? And when all the lies are plain to see How is it still enough for you? © 2012 schnickythepAuthor's Note
