Whole TruthA Poem by schlanks
I forget I'm okay
In the same way You dream at night Time loses linearity As haunted memories Come alive Did you take more from me than you plotted Or was it everything that you wanted Even in my regrets You could say I said Shame replays the absence Of resistance From the wear But what responsibilities Does a fourteen Year old bear Leveraged everything I was hoping You were the death of me from the moment You spent a year on me Til you could say I said yes I guess But would you admit Exactly what you did Would you admit Exactly what you did Or do you change it When you play it in your head Is it different When you tell it to your friends And if it is Ask yourself this What's wrong with Exactly what you did
