Gravity's IndifferenceA Poem by schlanksIt never happened for a minute Chains of remade memories Collect the better half of me To present me to reality Sticking my sick and sorry face in it Discomposure in a place of comfort Skin at unease, stomach encumbered Eyes far and unaware, remembered Stare down the loud sun's dawning notion Stagnant and the lead impedes Slow and steady, weight recedes Finding parts of me I need To set the sudden day in motion I need to set the day in motion
