Memories

Memories

A Poem by Jesse Schewe
"

How much does memories affect our lives? A lot... It moves people to whats next and also keeps people stuck in place at times too...

"

One thing held close no matter what is memories.

It keeps building through decades in the centuries.

For memories have given us eternal happiness.

Also it can give us sadness, which can lead to madness.

Memories drive us to the point of who we are.

It will also keep going from the start.

Cherish who you are or what you have been.

Because some memories only you have seen.

Use the memories for the future.

Only you know how to be sure.

I think you behold a very beautiful idea in this piece; along with the right morals.

It's eye opening, and leaves you in a peaceful state.

However, I felt the flow was a little off in this at certain times.

I would also like to see a bit more of describing words; you get your point across, don't get me wrong, but it didn't suck me in. If you used more describing words I think it'd add a fixating eye, along with a stronger story line. I liked your use of "eternal", though. c:

Great job overall, I enjoyed this piece. So, keep it up!

Thanks,
Cole. :D
