Sanctuary

Sanctuary

A Poem by Schemz
"

[song] A part of those wandering years while still in search of my own journey.

"

Feeling tired
Being imprisoned in my mind
Live in pain
Just can't live the past behind
Why did you have to leave me?
In the depth of misery...
My soul's lost in solace
Drowning in your haunting memory

Bright lights come surround me
Lift me up from this tragedy
To my sanctuary
Darkness come and hide me
Take me away to the other side of me
To my sanctuary

Lie awake
For my dreams have been mislaid
By the grave
Is where I'll put my life away
My life's full of sorrow
Looking back like there's no tomorrow
What else can I follow?
When everything for me is hollow...

There is a certain beautiful thing about misery. Like thunderstorms. I like those. Anyway good poem. Very dark.
