Puppet MasterA Poem by Schemz[Song] Life can be unfair sometimes. But it will never be more tragic than living the same old nightmare again and again, involving the innocents to your evil game.Puppet master, you're getting old But still your mystery goes on Your legend never disappears All through the years. You put those puppets into play Amazing by your hands they obey And so you give a good show each day As what they say. Well it's okay, Let them laugh and enjoy your play. But no one knows behind those eyes are the lives you took away. You were once a happy man, been the best father that you can Just to see him happy made you glad For he was all you had. He used to tell you all his dreams That when he'd grow up, you'll fly with him And promised to take you where you want No matter how far. But my friend no one can tell When one's life will turn into hell One night tragedy came your way In your hands his lifeless body lay... From then on you had sworn, All should be fair; Since your child was taken away, Then all should be the same. At night in streets you hide in the dark Waiting for little ones to come To have another puppet made For the next day. When you catch one, you'll look him into the eyes You grasp him and he begins to cry Then his skin slowly turns into wood - Into puppethood. And there you go with your game Living in a malevolent fame But no matter what you do, You can never bring your son back to you. You should have only befriended the dark And not used it for your selfish heart To avenge your misery, that shouldn't be. And if you'll never learn Let's see what kind of happiness you will earn Your son who once promised to fly with you Will only cry seeing you get doomed... Doomed forever... © 2013 Schemz |
