first one to die, losesA Poem by schanzillawith a languid smirk, a lonely pen i build a battlefield bang bang, someone's dead and the corpse lies freeformed in meadows of lilies and marigolds while insomnia whispers seconds lead riots singularly chucking rocks through the windows of my thought process my muse never mentioned makes awkward conversation paces nervously in the deep gray flicks its lighter for something to do mumbles curse words and concentrates whether i'm lost in Liberty City or denounced in the day to day like flotsam in fuzzy crocodile slippers like the girls in the hip hop music videos still i knock 'em out the box, Rick (knock 'em out, Rick) when faceless frustration falls flat sprawled fractured on floorboards my angel and devil dropped clear off the shoulders spoonfed "everything's cool" all the way down and i smile mischevious while they swallow my life story reads like a suicide note it's some bad juju, man © 2011 schanzillaReviews
